Web development on a codebase you own.

For businesses that have outgrown a brochure site. One platform you own - site, CRM, payments and admin - on Cloudflare, with hosting near zero.

Web development

“We’re not getting enough leads.” Sometimes the website is the leak. The form emails someone who’s on holiday, the quotes live in a spreadsheet, and the booking tool, the mailing list and the community are three more subscriptions that don’t talk to each other.

We build one platform instead: the public site and the private back office in a single codebase on Cloudflare, which makes it a web app with your website on the front. Leads land in your CRM, quotes come out of it, payments go through it, and you can see where every enquiry came from.

A brochure site tells people what you do. A platform does some of it: takes the enquiry, prices the job, takes the deposit, books the slot and sends the reminder, with a person signing off anything automated that goes to a customer.

It’s web development for owners rather than IT departments: you get a working system in weeks, not a specification. And you own all of it from day one, which isn’t an extra we add at the end. It’s how every build starts.

What we build

Game and Flames' private sales CRM, shown with demo data: a drag-and-drop pipeline of enquiries from New through Proposal to Won, with a Build Quote button

Site and CRM in one codebase

Game and Flames runs on one codebase on Cloudflare Pages that is both its public website and its private sales CRM: a drag-and-drop pipeline, notes and an activity log, a quote builder on the owner’s own pricing rules, a campaign engine the owner sends from, and reporting that splits organic from paid. Six layers of silent anti-spam guard the forms, and the nightly backup is restore-tested. Nothing gets copied from one tool to another, because there is only one, and it runs on Cloudflare’s free tier.

Funnels with logic

A form that asks the right questions starts the sales conversation for you. Live Happy’s 11-question Happiness Quiz is scored on the server across four dimensions, hands each visitor a PDF report, and files the result in the owner’s admin, where before her quiz leads leaked away between rented tools. Scoring on the server means every result is stored where the owner can see it, with nothing left to a third-party tool. Calculators, quizzes and booking forms all work the same way: useful to the customer, and a qualified lead for you.

Payments, bookings and deposits

Taking money should be the easy part. Game and Flames sells workshops and gift vouchers through Stripe checkout, so card details are handled by Stripe and never touch the site. Live Happy’s retreat pages take deposits and run a waitlist. Barn Gym takes class, PT and consultation bookings with automated waitlists, and new clients fill in a pre-consultation health form that a coach approves. Payments and bookings live in the same codebase as your leads, so nobody retypes a customer.

Tested before it ships

We test a platform the way customers use it. Live Happy’s build passes 94 of 94 end-to-end user flows - scripted visitors clicking through the site as a person would - and 24 of 24 unit tests, which check each part on its own, and its accessibility checks come back clean across 16 pages. Barn Gym’s community passes all 37 of its back-end tests. The tests come with the code, so your next developer can run them too.

Hosting near zero, in your name

Every platform we build runs on Cloudflare, served from close to wherever your visitors are, so pages load quickly and the hosting bill stays near zero. There are no servers for you to patch. Live Happy pays $0 a month for hosting, in its own Cloudflare account, and Game and Flames runs on the free tier. You hold the repository, the domain and the accounts, so there’s no lock-in, and moving on would never mean starting again.

How it works with us

How it works with us

01

The review call

Twenty to thirty minutes. We find where time and money leak, and which fix pays for itself first.

02

A fixed-price proposal

One scope, one price, one date, with the value case written next to the price. No hourly meter running.

03

Built in weeks

You see progress every week on a working link, not a slide. You can change your mind while it is cheap.

04

Handover, or we run it

You own the code, the data and the accounts. Run it yourselves, or we run it for you.

Questions people ask

Questions people ask

What does ‘you own the code’ actually mean?

The code lives in a repository in your name from day one, the site runs in your own Cloudflare account, and the domain is yours. The accounts are set up in your name at the start, not handed over at the end. If we stopped working together tomorrow, you’d keep everything and could give it to any developer. We’d rather keep you with good work than with a contract.

Why Cloudflare?

It serves your site from data centres close to each visitor, so pages load fast, and the hosting bill comes to near zero. It also runs the database, the file storage and the scheduled jobs a platform needs, so everything sits with one provider. Encrypted connections and protection from floods of junk traffic come as standard, with nothing extra to buy.

Can it replace the tools we’re paying for now?

Often. Live Happy replaced WordPress and four rented tools with one codebase it owns. Barn Gym replaced a paid community tool and separate booking software with one platform. The test is simple: what a tool costs each year, against what it stops you doing. Where a tool is worth keeping, we connect it instead, and where it costs more than it’s worth, we’ll tell you.

What do you build with?

TypeScript on Cloudflare, with Hono and Astro as the frameworks, D1 for databases and R2 for file storage. You don’t need to know what any of that means. Your next developer will, which is the point: these are mainstream tools with good documentation, so no part of your business depends on us being the only people who can read the code.

How much does a platform cost?

It’s a fixed price, set after the review call, because a site with a CRM and a site with a members’ community are different builds. The number comes after the scope, never before it. Running it afterwards costs little: hosting is near zero, and there’s no licence fee to us.

A call of 20 to 30 minutes. We find the gaps, the leaks and the quick wins, and what each one is worth to you. Fixed price after that, no hourly rates. No 200-page deck.
