AI, web and apps for Hailsham businesses

Hailsham still runs a cattle market, still makes rope and keeps adding new streets. We build AI, websites and apps for the trades, workshops and shops that serve it.

Hailsham

Hailsham has held a market since a charter of 1252, and the livestock sales still run every week. It has made rope since 1807, and the town crest carries a ball of twine to prove it. The shops run along the High Street and George Street, Wealden’s council offices are on Vicarage Lane, and the Cuckoo Trail cuts through town on its way from Heathfield to Polegate.

West of the centre, the Diplocks Way and Station Road estates are where a lot of the town’s work happens, rope included. On the edges of town new homes keep going up, and new households tend to find a plumber, a builder or a dentist by searching first and ringing second.

Hailsham also knows that old things can be made to work again. The Pavilion opened as a cinema in 1921, spent years as a bingo hall, and reopened in 2000 after a restoration. Plenty of business systems can be rescued too, and the review tells you which parts are worth keeping before anyone suggests starting again.

In a firm of five, one person usually holds it all together: answering the phone, pricing the job and doing the books after tea. That person is who we build for. The aim is to take the boring bits off them while they still sign off what goes out, not to add another app they have to remember to open.

New households search before they ring, so a reply that waits until Monday hands the job to someone else; AI drafts the answer in minutes, and you check it and press send.

On Diplocks Way it is catalogues, spec sheets and quotes written from scratch each time; AI drafts them from what you already have, and someone who knows the product signs them off.

Teams here are small and nobody has a spare afternoon to teach themselves AI, so we teach it in your building, using your own work, in a half-day workshop.

Game and Flames, our nearest flagship, is about 14 miles east in Bexhill-on-Sea. The caterer’s leads used to arrive by email and get lost, and quotes came out of a spreadsheet in the evening. We replaced both with one system that is the website and the CRM at once. Enquiries now sit in a six-stage pipeline instead of an inbox, quotes are built from the owner’s own pricing rules, and after a recorded call AI writes the follow-up email for a person to check before it goes. Six layers of silent anti-spam keep the junk away from the real enquiries.

From lost emails to one sales pipeline.

A 15-page website and a private sales CRM in one codebase. Enquiries land in a pipeline, quotes run on the owner’s pricing rules, and AI drafts the follow-up after a call for a person to send.

How we work

How we work with people in Hailsham

Hailsham is about half an hour from Seaford, close enough that we’d rather see your office, shop or unit than send you a link. If a video call suits you better, that’s fine too.

On the Free Business Review, three questions do most of the work: what happens to a new lead in its first hour, which jobs your team repeats every week, and what you’ve tried with AI so far. You’ll have our reply the next working day: the three fixes we’d make for a firm your size, best first, each valued in hours, leads or pounds.

Say yes to the first fix and it gets a fixed price and a short build. AI does the drafting, chasing and logging; a person on your team signs off anything that leaves the building.

Training happens on your premises too, so the team learns on the computers and the inbox they actually use.

Questions people ask

Questions people ask

We’re on an industrial estate, not the High Street. Is this for us?

Very much so. Quotes, follow-ups, order paperwork and spec sheets are the boring bits AI handles best, and a busy unit on Diplocks Way or Station Road produces plenty of them. A person still signs off everything a customer sees. We will come and watch how an enquiry becomes a job, then show you where the hours go and which of them a machine could take.

Our team has never used ChatGPT. Where do we start?

With a half-day or full-day workshop in your own building, using your own emails, quotes and documents rather than made-up examples. We set clear rules on what AI may draft and what a person must check, so people use it with confidence instead of guessing. Owners who want more can add founder mentoring.

Do we need a new website before any of this?

Not always. Sometimes the website is fine and the leak is what happens after someone fills in the form: nobody replies until the evening, or the quote takes a week. Fixing that first can be worth more than a redesign. The review tells you which it is before you spend anything.

Tell us what’s slow. We’ll tell you what to fix first.

A call of 20 to 30 minutes. We find the gaps, the leaks and the quick wins, and what each one is worth to you. Fixed price after that, no hourly rates. No 200-page deck.
