AI, web and apps for London businesses
London has no shortage of AI strategy decks. We build working systems instead, train the teams that run them, and come up from Sussex when the room matters.
London
We build for two kinds of London business. The first is the corporate or enterprise team that needs AI working inside real processes, with people trained to run it and to sign off what it produces. Our reference there is Panasonic Northern Europe: enterprise AI systems implementation, team training programmes and process automation at scale.
The second is the owner-run firm - a Soho studio, a practice off Harley Street, a restaurant group, a consultancy in the City - that wants what the corporates have, without the six-month programme or the 200-page deck. Same problems, bigger rents.
Our founder, Dan Nicholls, ran online marketing for Toshiba across Northern Europe: six countries, a seven-figure budget, a team of six. We know how a large organisation buys. We just do not build at its pace.
Behind all of it sits the business brain: a single AI-readable record of how your company works, wired into the CRM, inbox, calendar, website and finance, so staff and AI agents work from the same facts and a person signs off what leaves. The more systems a firm runs, the sooner it feels the lack of one.
What London businesses bring us
What London businesses bring us
a lifeboat crew
06Our team can’t use AI.Train the crew, not just the boat.
Big teams rarely fail at AI for want of licences; they stall for want of training, so we run programmes that teach people to use it on their real work, with guardrails.
Cuckmere Haven
02Our marketing takes forever.Stop taking the scenic route.
Agencies and professional firms lose senior hours to proposals, pitch decks and reports; AI drafts them from your own past work, and a partner signs each one off.
Newhaven harbour
04We need an app. Yesterday. We ship.
London customers expect to book and manage everything from their phones; we scope the app on a call, put a fixed price on it and ship it in weeks, not quarters.

Honest answer: none of our flagship builds is in London. Two are in East Sussex, in Bexhill-on-Sea and Burwash, and the third, Live Happy, is in Flagstaff, Arizona, more than 5,000 miles from Seaford. The work doesn’t care about the distance. For corporate buyers, the Panasonic Northern Europe engagement is active and ongoing; the details stay under NDA, and a reference is available on request. To see the work on screen, the Game and Flames and Barn Gym case studies show the real systems, captured from the running platforms.

How we work
How we work with people in London
We are based in Seaford. London Victoria is about an hour and a half away by train, with a change at Lewes, so we come up for the meetings where being in the room changes the outcome: kick-offs, workshops and training days. Everything else runs remotely.
Corporate or owner-run, everyone starts in the same place: the Free Business Review, 20 to 30 minutes on what’s slow and where AI would pay for itself first. Next working day, you get a short written summary a finance director could read over a coffee: three fixes, ordered, each with a rough value.
The proposal fixes the price and the scope. While we build, you get weekly written progress and a demo every two weeks. Strategy comes inside the build, never as a standalone roadmap, and every message an agent drafts has a human sign-off unless you’ve signed that away in writing.
For owner-run firms, the person on the review call is usually the person who signs.

Questions people ask
Questions people ask
Why use a Sussex agency for London work?
Because the work doesn’t depend on a postcode, and we’d rather ship a working system than spend a quarter scoping one. When being in the room matters, we get the train. The rest of the time we’re as close as your inbox.
Can you train a whole department, not just a few enthusiasts?
Yes. Team training programmes are part of our corporate work, and we run half-day and full-day workshops for smaller firms. We teach on your own processes and documents, set rules for what AI may draft and what a person must check, and leave the capability inside your building rather than with us.
Who owns the data and the systems you build?
You do. The code sits in your repository, the accounts are in your name, and the AI only reaches the systems you choose to connect, through MCP servers - your tools, wired into the AI - that we build for the purpose. A person signs off anything it sends, and nothing depends on a platform you rent from us. If you want us to run it, we can; if you want your own team to, we train them.

Tell us what’s slow. We’ll tell you what to fix first.
A call of 20 to 30 minutes. We find the gaps, the leaks and the quick wins, and what each one is worth to you. Fixed price after that, no hourly rates. No 200-page deck.
Or tell us what you want to achieve and Dan will come back to you within one working day. Email dan@danielnicholls.com.
